STUDENT GAMER BECOMES FOOTBALL CLUB MANAGER

It's officially time to stop planning to gain a fulfilling career by getting an education and working your way up the ranks. Instead you should just play a lot of video games — at least if your dream job includes being a surgeon or managing a sports team.

Vugar Huseynzade has been promoted to manager of FK Baku, one of Azerbaijan's top soccer clubs because of his 10years experience of playing the simulation game "Football Manager." Huseynzade, a 21-year-old student in Sweden who had worked at the club as an assistant since February, told a Swedish newspaper that he's been an avid player of the game since 2002. So if you want to get a job via playing video games, you still need to put in years of hard labour.
