It
is no news again that Tunde has deserted his first love, Styl-Plus to go solo,
thus establishing his record label and a stage name, Nativeboy. In fact,
Styl-Plus with just Shifi and Zeal left, will be releasing a new single, Ale
Oni (Tonight) in the coming weeks.
Up
till now, no one is in the know of the actual reason for the sleek singer to
have deserted his colleagues. Side talks have it that Tunde and the rest of the
gang seem not to have the same musical passion. Hence, he felt the need to
forge ahead. A big round of applause for you, Tunde, for making this bold
decision. I love how you have decided to up your game. Seriously, Styl-Plus
have been too quiet from my musical perspective. Since 2003 that the group hit
the airwaves, we are yet to hear any big bang from the group.
Tunde,
though I commend your decision, it would be also okay to reprimand you for
deciding to bear the name NATIVEBOY…why would you use BOY? Even Saucekid had to
change his name to Sinzu. He has done a plethora of things just to make the new
name Sinzu sink, yet people still find it hard to identify him with the brand.
Tunde, I guess you still need a brief course on branding. Well am available if you don’t
mind. But it aint free o.
