OBAMA AND ROMNEY MAKE 4YEAR OLD GIRL CRY

I doubt if a 4year old child in Nigeria understood what is going on in the country. A young girl in Colorado, has expressed her frustration over Obama Romney presidential election row.

After months of buildup leading to the presidential election in November, 4-year-old Abigael Evans has had enough.

The Fort Collins, Colo., girl broke down in tears after listening to yet another report on the radio about the race between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney, a local NBC TV station reported.

"I'm tired of Bronco Bamma(Barack Obama) and Mitt Romney," said the sobbing girl, who lives in a battleground state.

LOVECAPADES with Funkielicious (I)

HE FLIRTS, BUT I CAN'T LEAVE HIM

Love is a phenomenal the world we are in is yet to unravel. Experience is the best Teacher but we don’t have to learn from our own experience because some experiences can never be recovered from, like I do tell my sisters I don’t want you guys to learn in a hard way. That brings me to the question why do ladies want to be in a relationship all because she doesn’t want to be ‘left out of train’

I got talking to my neighbour, Tara, over the weekend then I asked her about her bf. She said ‘he is fine, but he flirts around.” I asked her, ‘how did you know’. She said, “cos he tried luring me to sleep with him the last time we met for the first time alone in his house and I had to jet out because I told him is not gonna happen.” With a little rage on her face she said, “but he promised me no sex before marriage since he is a Christian”. Even at that, I had this inclination that he sleeps around, but I still accepted his proposal then.

What amazes me most was she gave her mum his name to pray on…which is so common among Christian ladies. I asked her why did you give your mum his name to pray on when you know he isn’t the kind of man u want to date let alone spend the rest of your life with. She responded “I want to have someone am dating ‘cos I really feel out of place when people are talking about their boo…

That’s a problem that has eaten deep into our society…Ladies  feel out of place when they don’t have a man to call their own and some have this mentality…maybe I’m not beautiful enough…if you found yourself in this category, please check out yourself. Ask yourself these: have I been a good friend? Do I have a sassy dress sense? Am I refined or crude et al.

The fact is this, it takes a friendly person to build a healthy relationship.

We are going to enjoy talking different shades of relationship I come about any day or time with you on this blog and I will like to have your opinion back…cos it takes two to tango.

This is no doubt a strictly business kind of meetin. And you need not be convinced that these guys are cooking up something. Check out their rapt attention. Am actually expecting a worthwhile result from these Igbo guys. Well that's what they do best.

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that Cristiano Ronaldo was named after his father’s favourite actor, Ronald Reagan (who was also the 40th US President). Did you also know that one of his sisters eked out a career in music on the back of his subsequent fame by using the stage name, Ronalda.

JAY-Z AND BEYONCE LOSE BID TO TRADEMARK DAUGHTER'S NAME

Jay-Z and Beyoncé have lost a bid to trademark the name of their daughter, Blue Ivy. The musicians' petition was denied by the US patent and trademark office, permitting an American wedding planner to continue using the name.

Until recently, Alexander had been in danger of losing the rights to the name of her own business: although Blue Ivy Events was founded in 2009, Jay-Z and Beyoncé were seeking to reserve the phrase "Blue Ivy" as a brand name for their own line of baby products. The couple's first daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, was born on 7 January 2012.

I call that money speaking speaking just as 9ice sang. Well, the US Patent has just proved that money does not buy everything. What could these two have been thinking before deciding to hijack someone else's patent right. I tire for these celebrities sef.

In case Jay Z and Beyonce are reading this, Alexander has decided to listen to your offers if you were indeed interested in getting the name for your baby...This is an unpaid announcement Alexander, but endeavour to say THANK YOU once they table a bid. Aight?

45 LIFE LESSONS WRITTEN BY A 90YEAR OLD

I stumbled on the following life principles while perusing the globe and I found it interesting...Enjoy the piece.

1. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short not to enjoy it.
4. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.
5. Don’t buy stuff you don’t need.
6. You don’t have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself.
7. Cry with someone. It’s more healing than crying alone.
8. It’s OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for things that matter.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present.
12. It’s OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn’t be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye… But don’t worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful.  Clutter weighs you down in many ways.
18. Whatever doesn’t kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It’s never too late to be happy.  But it’s all up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don’t take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don’t save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Overprepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don’t wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words, ‘In five years, will this matter?’
27. Always choose Life.
28. Forgive but don’t forget.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give Time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn’t do.
35. Don’t audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative — dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d
grab ours back.

41. Envy is a waste of time. Accept what you already have, not what you think you need.
42. The best is yet to come…
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn’t tied with a bow, but it’s still a gift.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Green White Green by Ven

Here is the unofficial video of the Independence song, Green White Green by Ven. Enjoy.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

...too many tweets make a twat.
                                                David Cameron, Britain's Prime Minister.

DAVID CAMERON RECEIVES TORRENT OF ABUSE AFTER JOINING TWITTER

Britain's Prime Minister, David Cameron
David Cameron has signed up to Twitter, prompting users of the social networking site to inundate him with hundreds of hostile messages.

In his first tweet via @david_cameron, the prime minister wrote: "I'm starting Conference with this new Twitter feed about my role as Conservative Leader. I promise there won't be 'too many tweets...'".

He followed up by posting a photograph of himself meeting staff at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, then fell silent for several hours.

In the meantime, a torrent of abuse filled his Twitter timeline. Some disgruntled tweeters used it to attack the government's policies. Some expressed their dislike for Cameron in colourful language. Others merely mocked.

Political opponents were among those who joined the fray. John Prescott, the former deputy prime minister and a Twitter stalwart, gleefully reposted a series of questions poking fun at Cameron's upper crust background.

Cameron has previously spoken of his reluctance to follow in the footsteps of many other high profile politicians in joining Twitter. Asked about it during a radio interview in 2009, he remarked: "The trouble with Twitter, the instantness of it – too many tweets might make a twat." He later apologised for the comments.

NIGERIA POLICE RELEASE SPECIAL EMAIL ADDRESS TO THE PUBLIC

Ozuah
The Nigerian Police have released a special email address to the public for relaying useful information to the force whenever critical issues arise.

This surfaced following the controversy surrounding the death of Ugochukwu Ozuah on 20th September, 2012, who was allegedly shot dead by a policeman in front of the UPS office on the Gbagada Expressway, Lagos on Thursday, September 20. Up till now, the culprit is yet to be brought to justice though the Inspector General of Police, M.D Abubakar, had constituted a high-powered investigation team from the FCID, Abuja, to immediately take-over the investigation of the case from the Lagos State Police Command, with the mandate to identify and fish out the killer(s).

The e-mail address is policemonitor@npf.gov.ng

Do you think, provision of email is the best way of solving this issue? Or what do you think?
